53 years, 77 days, and a few hours…

That is how long it has been since Paolo Galletti was appointed Sole Director of OMG S.r.l.—the same amount of time that has elapsed since OMG was first incorporated. This span of time coincides, almost symbolically, with the company’s entire history and its path of growth.

Over the decades, a small artisanal machine shop has grown into an international industrial group, known and recognized throughout the world, particularly thanks to the SICOMA brand. This achievement was by no means a foregone conclusion; it is the result of a rare entrepreneurial vision, constant dedication, and a genuine passion for work and industry.

Paolo Galletti has succeeded in carrying the name of our family and our region far beyond local and national borders, spreading a work ethic based on professionalism, technical expertise, and a continuous pursuit of quality—particularly in the production of high-performance concrete machinery. The innovative ideas of the founders, David and Bruno, found in him the ideal foundation to develop, take root, and transform into a solid and enduring business enterprise.

Starting from a suburb of Perugia, the group has established itself on a global scale, strengthening its position over time thanks in part to the creation of sales and production facilities in various countries around the world and expanding into diversified activities in other sectors, in addition to that of forced-action mixers for concrete production.

Today, January 16, 2026, with the same passion that has always distinguished him and with full awareness of the growing governance needs of a group that has become complex and international, Paolo Galletti is stepping down from his sole leadership role. He does so by ushering in a new phase, characterized by a structure of Boards of Directors—chaired by him—within which several family members, both young and older, will assume roles and responsibilities, in the spirit of continuity and generational transition.

To Paolo we extend our most heartfelt and sincere thanks, along with those of all employees and collaborators, both in Italy and abroad, for everything he has done and continues to do for the OMG–SICOMA Group and for the family as a whole.

To the new corporate bodies, we extend our best wishes for success in their work, with the hope that they will guide the group toward further decades of growth and development, continuing with consistency, responsibility, and cooperation along the path first charted by the founders David and Bruno and then by Sole Director Paolo.
